Each year publishes, on a rolling basis, it’s “Top 20”  lists. The lists are chosen based on highly transparent criteria outlined on this web page. Additionally, there is no fee to apply and there’s no “pay to play” forces at work. These lists matter for a few reasons.

First, companies on these lists are considered a “safe bet” by the L&D professionals who are often responsible for sourcing vendors for workforce development initiatives. It’s easier for them to justify their choices “up the food chain” by working from a pre-vetted list from a reputable source such as Plus, it saves them time.

Second, the “Top-20” pages show up high on Google for related keyword searches. Getting on the first page of Google search without spending a fortune is very difficult these days, so the next best thing is being on a page of another web site that shows up high on the first page.

Finally, when an L&D professional is sourcing a provide and they see the “Top-20” badge on your website it provides you with credibility “at a glance” and they are much more likely to go deeper into your website and become an opportunity for you. I know this because I’ve spoken with dozens of L&D buyers over the past 5 years and this is what they tell me.
